Victorian furniture saw very high sales for very good furniture at a Neal auction in fall 2015. Belter pieces were two to three times estimate. A sofa sold for $107,187 and another for $16,537, while a center table went for $59,375. Two Belter armchairs were sold, each for $33,687, and two different étagères were sold, one for $19,600, the other for $17,150. Other Victorian pieces including an American Renaissance marquetry center table that sold for $22,662 and an American gilt bronze and cut glass Gasolier for $50,000. All of the pieces were in very good to excellent condition, and most came from impressive homes.
