Furniture Designs Changing

Furniture designs are changing because electronic equipment needs different kinds of storage spaces. Old-style desks and bookshelves aren’t quite the right shape for someone watching television while working on a laptop or tablet. New pieces have holes or other openings to handle cords and wires, a shelf that can be used as a desktop, space for audio and video accessories, speakers and charging stations. The classic Chippendale desk is hard to sell today because of these requirements.
