Beatles’ Yellow Submarine

The Beatles’ 1968 classic animated movie “Yellow Submarine” has been restored and is back in theaters. Beatles’ music and fame has endured for more than 50 years. There are still even fan magazines. I remember downtown department store in the early 1970s with a dump display of cels from “Yellow Submarine” on sale. I wanted to buy one for the kids but decided it was a foolish way to spend money. The framed cels were about $10 each. Some are for sale now online for $400 to $1500 each.
