Stretch Out Discussions are held periodically to provide education and learning opportunities to all who are interested in learning about American Iridescent stretch glass. The Discussions are conducted via a Zoom meeting with photos of the stretch glass being discussed available at www.stretchglasssociety.org. Discussions are led by stretch glass experts and researchers including Cal Hackeman, Kitty & Russell Umbraco, Dave Shetlar, Sarah Plummer and others.
This January 13 discussion will be our first call of the 2022 Series. It will focus on Unique and Special Purpose Items, such as cheese and cracker sets, smoking items and sets, relish jars and trays.
All photos that will be discussed will be available on our website: stretchglasssociety.org one week preceding the call.
The discussion will begin promptly at 8pm Eastern time via a Zoom meeting. Individuals are welcome to show their unique and special purpose items. We look forward to sharing insights with you on this unusual selection of glass.
