Q: I’d like some information about and the value of this child’s Mickey Mouse tea set. It is not complete.

A: This tea set with pictures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a luster border was made in Japan for Walt Disney Enterprises. The set was made in Japan in the late 1930s and sold under the Nifty brand owned by Geo. Borgefeldt Corporation, an importer in New York. A complete set had six cups and saucers, six plates, sugar, creamer, teapot, and lids. The complete 1930s set sells for $200 to $300.
