Q: I am hoping you can give me some information about my favorite chair. I bought it at a yard sale in Connecticut 25 years ago and use it while I play my banjo. Because of its odd shape, I have always wondered what it was originally designed for. The label on the chair says, “Seatmore, Frank Rieder & Sons, Philadelphia, Pa., Patented June 1, 1920.”
