Elvis Monkey
Q: I have a ceramic statue of a monkey sitting down and holding a ball to one side. It has a high gloss white glaze and is about 18 inches tall. It’s marked on the bottom “S.43-16/Italy.” A friend said Elvis Presley once owned a statue like this for his jungle room and wrote a song about it. Now these are collectibles. Can you give me any more information and value?
