Q: My antique clock is 25 inches tall and the case appears to be oak. The word “Eclipse” is in gold on the glass front. There’s a worn label on the back that reads, in part, “Eclipse, Manufactured for The American Wringer Co. by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn.” Please tell me something about this clock.
