Gene Autry

Gene Autry was born in 1907. He began his career as the "Singing Cowboy" in 1928. His first movie appearance was in 1934, his last in 1958. Autry is the only celebrity to have five stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His likeness and that of the Wonder Horse, Champion, were used on toys, books, lunch boxes, and advertisements.
