Schneider

Schneider Glassworks was founded in 1917 at Epinay-sur-Seine, France, by Charles and Ernest Schneider. Art glass was made between 1918 and 1933. The company went bankrupt in 1939. Charles Schneider and hissons opened a new glassworks in 1949. Art glass was made until 1981, when the company closed. Pieces are marked with the Schneider name, sometimes with a vase and France for exported items. See also the Le Verre Français category.
