Francisware

Francisware

Francisware is the name of a glassware made by Hobbs, Brockunier and Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, in the 1880s. It is a clear or frosted hobnail or swirl pattern glass with an amber-stained rim. Some pieces were made by a pressed glass method, others were mold blown. Francisware pieces include bowls, candy dishes, creamers, pitchers, spooners, and water sets. For more information, explore our identification guides for art glass and pressed glass
