Danish furniture from the 1950s is popular with young collectors today. A 1952 dining table by Danish artist Peder Moos (1906-1991) broke the world auction record for a piece of Nordic design. It sold for $922,759 at a Phillips auction in London in October 2015. Moos designed a tea cart and a coffee table that were manufactured by Fritz Hansen, but he made all of the rest of his furniture himself.
