Can you tell me what this 4 inch long silverplate item is for and when/where it was made? The pierced round hollow center is about 1/2″ deep. The handle unscrews but the opening is very small. My only guesses are a Victorian vinaigrette or perhaps baby rattle but those don’t seem to fit. Thanks very much.
