My Grandmother gave me this teapot and I’ve always wondered what the history may be about it. The “MADE IN JAPAN” is on the bottom and appears to be black ink. On one side of the teapot is an elephant, opposite side shows a kangaroo. Kind of a kitschy piece, but something I treasure. I just logged on today, first time. Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this little teapot.
Seems to be pottery, green, Kangaroo on one side, elephant on opposite side, a flower, and the finish is not smooth, but kind of scratchy. Inside of the teapot is crackly off-white.
