Was curious to find out more. What is the purpose and meaning of the embossed markings, why was this made, value and overall history.

Can only make out “munchen” and 1888. The other word not sure of. From my research it may be from Baron Cuno Von Bodenhausen called “feeling”. Not sure what kind of print this is, if its original, reproduction etc. Its around the size of a 4×6 photograph but not sure if its exact. On the back it mentions being a gift to someone. Got this at a NZ op shop.

For some reason I can’t upload the photo so I posted a link to my Instagram with the photos.

Munchen means Munich !! You will have to take it out of the frame to see what kind of paper it is on to determine if it is a print !! Take it to an art gallery and have them check it !
