The Gypsy Fortune Teller machine that had been in a Montana restaurant for years has finally been noticed by the rest of the country–because magician David Copperfield wants to buy it. It is said he offered $2 million for it. But the state of Montana says it will not sell this “piece of history.” Estimates of the value go as high as $10 million. Do not confuse this Gypsy Fortune Teller machine with the more common one that has a woman inside a glass-front box. Drop in a nickel and she moves her hand to point to a printed card with your fortune. Those sell for about $2,000 to $4,000. The rare Montana gypsy is 3-dimensional, moves her teeth, and talks with the help of a hidden record player.
