Cathy,
I love my old "Blue Streak" Sheridan. Mine is a pump air rifle chambered to fit 5mm or 20 caliber. The pellets I prefer are the Beeman hollow points. It is very accurate. I use mine to control the rabbit population occasionally and to plink cans. Over the years, the seals dry out and I have had them replaced by a company that services air rifles. The stocks on the old models are walnut. About seven pumps maximum but four or five is sufficient for power and accuracy if the seals are still good. At seven pumps it should go through the front ofa tin can and dent the heck out of the back. Be careful, they are not toys.
