antique sewing items??? need help 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Going through my grandmothers estate we came acoss several old items. One is a measuring tape... see attached pic. It has a stamp on the side that says German. Also a wooden pin cushion. See pic. I would love to know if anyone has any info on these things!

It is amazing how sewing is still a favorite pastime for so many people after all of these years. Clearly, the need of sewing as a necessity has long passed and yet people continue to find new and inventive ways of using the thread.
