Dear Antique Enthusiast and Collector,
My husband Ralph and I have been collecting for more than 4 decades now and over these years we have seen and heard quite a few incredible stories of uncovering priceless objects in the least expected places.
For example, the Clematis Roseville bowl you see below. This beautiful piece sat collecting dust in someones garage for years. Eventually, the owner passed on and the heirs held an estate sale. In the confusion the piece was placed out for sale on a table marked at $5. Fortunately, one of the heirs was a faithful Kovels reader and recognized a true treasure when she saw one. Needless to say, the Roseville bowl was snatched off the table before the public could buy it. The piece later sold at auction for $440!

Another tale of discovery goes like this. A small town bait-store operator found an odd-looking 10 metal Haskell minnow lure that he thought would make a nice display for his wall. He was floored when he was offered a new pick-up truck in trade for it. He quickly did some research and found that it was a rare 1859 lure worth in the range of $35,000 to $45,000!
And the stories come in every month. But Im sure you feel the same way we do every visit to your local flea market, rummage sale, or yard sale is like a fishing expedition. Sometimes you get a small nibble sometimes you land the big one! Send me my free issue!

You may have seen our program on HGTV Flea Market Finds with the Kovels. And our newsletter goes to thousands of people across the country and is now Americas most respected antiques and collectibles newsletter. We started out just collecting pottery soon after we were married. Ralph and I became frustrated by the lack of information about the identifying marks that can be found on most pieces of pottery. This was the inspiration Ralph and I needed to write Kovels Dictionary of Marks. That book is now in its 42nd printing!
And our home is probably much like yours overflowing with collections. And books about collecting, and pricing guides, too.
You see, whenever we become fascinated with a new area of collecting, we devote a lot of energy to researching all we can find out about it. Often that supplies us with enough material for a new reference book on the subject. And would you believe, this method has allowed us to write over 90 books.
We also write a newspaper column and magazine articles just to help our fellow antiques enthusiasts. And thats why wed like to make this offer to you.
Click the button below and well send you a FREE issue of Kovels On Antiques and Collectibles. Read it and youll immediately find useful tips that you can put into practice on your very next outing.
Then, youll receive a new issue every month for 12 months at a savings of up to 33% off the cover price of $3 an issue! Send my free issue!
