Brass forks 10 Months ago
I have a set of 6 brass forks that have been in my family for generations. We have been able to trace them back for at least 6 generations. We ave been trying to identify the marks on the back of the forks for almost 35 years with no success. I am hoping someone here with be able to shed some light on our family mystery.

metal mermaid on a stand-help identify! 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I bought a small (about 4" x3.5" metal painted mermaid on a pedestal/stand. The metal is heavy, possibly painted brass, as it has a slight patina underneath the mermaid. Very detailed, attached to the stand by 2 screws. Underneath, where the nuts are holding the screws is a name with possibly2 initials.. Very hard to decipher, but it looks like M M Jonny or Jenny. The mermaid has a small plate shaped dish in her lap. The stand is painted black, and the mermaid is sitting and painted tannis brown. I'd just like to know its possible history, and where ir might have come from and the value, and if ther are any more like it! Any help would be appreciated.

Brass or Bronze Antique Saddle Stirrup ID 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I picked up this saddle stirrup at an estate sale. I believe it's made of either brass or bronze. It measures about 6" across the bottom, is about 6 1/2" tall, and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. It has what I believe are dragons across the top. Anyone know anything about it? Anyone know how to tell brass from bronze?
Thanks!

metal mermaid on a stand-photo 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Here is the metal mermaid i spoke of. About 4"x3.5". Painted brass on a pedestal/stand, with the initials MM followed by the name "Jonny" or "Jenny". Very detailed, heavy. Just wondering its history and possible value. Thank you.

Arthur Waagen Spelter Bust "Time is Money" 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Circa 1833-1898 (but not certain)this bust stands 26 1/2 " tall of spelter. The winged woman bust has a ribbon at her chest which reads "TIME IS MONEY". The bust is signed by WAAGEN.

I have seen these posted on the web with a clock but nowhere have I found this particular item without the clock. Does anybody have any further information about this item?
