Should collectible silver spoons, napkin rings, etc be cleaned and polished, or do collectors prefer the grunge patina?

English Bed & Breakfast Pewter Pieces 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Hi everybody,

I have a TON of pewter pieces; left to me years ago by a family member. I believe the majority of them came from English Bed & Breakfasts. Does anyone know where I can price the value of these items or find a market for them? They are all stamped, have serial numbers and very pretty stamps that I assume are the insignias of the restaurants or hotels who purchased them originally.

I have gone through Kovels.com but cannot find many of the specific items.

Thanks in advance,
Jennifer

What is this mark HELP! It's on the bottom of a metal(?) hand pounded pitcher from Spain. I tried to download it but it says it was too big. If this doesn't work would you please contact me anyway and I can send you pic's from my email. I have exhuasted all avenues even a collector. They said they never have seen a pitcher or mark like this. Thank you! Hope the pic takes.

HELP! I am having problems uploading the pic's but if you think you can help me I can send them from my email address, directly. Anyway I have exhausted all avenues and I cannot find the owner of the mark or anything close to it. It's hand pounded, some kind of metal/mix pitcher from Spain and no where can I find ANY info on it or anything remotely close to it.I will try to upload pic of mark.
