Watch pockets held the pocket watch. It was important in Victorian times because the wristwatch was not used. Before World War I, a valuable part of the watch is the old watch paper sometimes found inside the back of the timepiece. All types of watches are collected: silver, gold, or plated. Watches are listed here by company name or by style. Wristwatches are a separate category.
