Kate Greenaway Kate Greenaway

Kate Greenaway, who was a famous illustrator of children's books, drew pictures of children in high-waisted Empire dresses. She lived from 1846 to 1901. Her designs appear on china, glass, and other pieces. Her drawings were so popular that they started a style of dress that was named for her.
