Lightning Rod
Lightning rods and lightning rod balls are collected. The glass balls were at the center of the rod that was attached to the roof of a house or barn to avoid lightning damage. The lightning rod has been in use since the 1700s, when Benjamin Franklin conducted his famous kite experiment.
