Swords of all types that are of interest to collectors are listed here. The military dress sword with elaborate handle is probably the most wanted. A tsuba is a hand guard fitted to a Japanese sword between the handle and the blade. Swords were rarely used in modern times, but rebels used swords during the 2011 Libyan revolt. Be sure to display swords in a safe way, out of reach of children.
