Zanesville Art Pottery was founded in 1900 by David Schmidt in Zanesville, Ohio. The firm made faience umbrella stands, jardinieres, and pedestals. The company closed in 1962. Many pieces are marked with just the words La Moro. Zanesville's most famous art pottery line is La Moro, which is similar to Roseville's Rozane line and Weller's Louwelsa line.
