Wheeling Pottery Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, worked from 1879 to about 1923. The firm went through a number of mergers and name changes during that time. Pottery, semiporcelain, artware, and sanitary wares were made. Wheeling Pottery made the first white ware in West Virginia in 1879.
