Walrath was a potter who worked in New York City; Rochester, New York; and at the Newcomb Pottery in New Orleans, Louisiana. He studied at the New York State School of Ceramics, worked at the Grueby Faience Company in Boston, and taught at the Mechanics Institute from 1908 until 1918. Frederick Walrath died in 1920. Pieces listed here are art pottery pieces he made.
