Collector plates are modern plates produced in limited editions. Some may be found listed under the factory name, such as Bing & Grondahl, Royal Copenhagen, Royal Doulton, and Wedgwood. Collector plates were very popular from the 1970s to 1990s, then the interest waned and prices dropped.
