Goofus Glass Goofus Glass

Goofus glass was made from about 1900 to 1920 by many American factories. It was originally painted gold, red, green, bronze, pink, purple, or other bright colors. Many pieces are found today with flaking paint, and this lowers the value. The paint of Goofus glass was unfired and the glass itself was the first carnival glass.
