Flash Gordon

Flash Gordon appeared in the Sunday comics in 1934. The daily strip started in 1940. The hero was also in comic books from 1930 to 1970, in books from 1936, in movies from 1938, on the radio in the 1930s and 1940s, and on television in 1953 and 1954. Flash Gordon was made into a film in 1980 and a live-action TV series in 2007. All sorts of memorabilia are collected, but the ray guns and rocket ships are the most popular.
