Clews Clews

Clews pottery was made by George Clews & Co. of Brownhills Pottery, Tunstall, England, from 1906 to 1961. In the 1930s, Clews made glazed green animal figures for gardens, as well as the company's famous teapots. Do not confuse with James and Ralph Clews, who worked in the Staffordshire district from 1818 to 1834, and whose works are listed in this book in the Staffordshire category.
