Wood Carvings |
|
|
Wood carvings and wooden pieces are listed separately. Many of the wood carvings are figurines or statues. Woodcuts and wood engravings first appeared in Europe during the fifteenth century. The style was revived in the late nineteenth century because of the popularity of Japanese woodblock prints and the Arts & Crafts movement. There are also wooden pieces found in other categories, such as Kitchen.
