Hi, I think the reason is because they are club's and you have to pay a membership fee to be on the dicussion forum Red Wing has a good one and so does Galena pottery and probably more. I have seen the prices of whiskey jugs and crocks in good condition sky rocket at auctions in the last few years. For a long time there was a slump, you were lucky to get $8.00 for a gallon whiskey jug now they are going for $35.00 to $70.00 unmarked. Making homemade wine and beer is back and again very popular.
