Milk glass lamps..Please help!!! 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Can anyone please identify this set of lamps I acquired at a auction that no one wanted and got the set for $7.00. I know there "hurricane" and the chimney part is "hobnail" but no makers mark are anywhere on them and the bottom part of the lamps are a different design and I can not find the exact design anywhere but some that are close is "button and rose" or "button and star" I think is there names. The bottom to me looks like a candy dish or something.Milk glass is not something I know anything about. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Tammy

The bowl is Diamond and Sunburst designed by Westmoreland and probably copied by other factories. It looks to me that the original chimney broke and someone replaced the hobnail or vice versa. I'm suprised that you even had to pay $7.00 for it. Most of milk glass is not collectable unless it is marked Westmoreland or Fenton.
