Vintage men’s clothing has never been as easy to sell as women’s clothing, but that’s changing. Shops in Berlin, Germany, are selling vintage clothing, like a 1940s linen suit from Sweden and Dr. (Doc) Martens boots. Most of the brands for sale are German, but the idea that “vintage men’s clothes are cool” is spreading. Men started noticing the quality in old brands in about 2008, just about the time the recession hit. (from an article in the Financial Times, Sept. 8, 2013)
