Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any ideas/help. I am trying to authenticate this instrument. I believe it is an Austro-Hungarian Hunting horn because of the crest. I actually found the same crest online linked to an Austro-Hungarian time period. The details on the horn help me believe that it is not a replica. I bought it from an estate sale of an older gentleman who was from Germany. I attached two pictures and can provide more. The chord was added by me and is not authentic.
