Italian Lighting designed in the 1950’s and 1960’s has recently been rediscovered by collectors worldwide. Two of the most desirable manufacturers are Arteluce and Arredoluce.

Arteluce was a company was founded by Gino Sarfatti in Milan. Lighting designed by Mr. Sarfatti is especially desired. Arredoluce had many well-known designers working for the company including Angelo Lelli, Ettore Sottsass and Nanda Vigo.  Arredoluce produced one of the most famous lamps, the “Triennale”  floor lamp, in 1951. The designer of this lamp remains unknown, but the lamp still sells in the thousands of dollars.
