occupied Japan figurine 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
Hello, I'm new to this site and would love some help in pricing two small, made in occupied Japan figurines, which are made up of a blue bird landing on a piece of wood on each figurine. I have looked on other sites and can not find this one any where. If anyone can give me an idea of price it would be appreciated. May Moore

In my book there is two listed, one on a log another on a stump with wings spread out. If they are in VG condition and shiny paint the value is $18-22.00 each.

Thank you for your help on this matter. Could you tell me the name of your book that you were able to find these birds in? I love these figurines and would like to know more about them. I have a large collection of them at present and may sell some of them in the future.

I have several "Made in Japan" ceramic books by Carole Bess White. I also have a collection of books by Kovels. I also have a Made in Occupied Japan book, but it is only a picture book not a price guide. So The prices I quoted came from Kovels price guide books. Keep in mind that these prices seem a little high right now in today's market but maybe better day's are coming. Another place to look is antique shops to get an idea of prices.
