can some one please help me i have a james pence golf club probably from the 1800's. I have someone tryin gto buy it from meand I am worried it could have a high value... Is anyone a golf expert????

I am not a golf expert but you sound desperate for help. I have several books that have golf club listing including 15 years of Kovals. First, no one can give you a price because there is hundreds of different clubs. Scotland clubs are not rare, There is a lot of them on e-bay. The clubs that are worth the most money are those with sheepskin leather bound with a strap. also it depends on shaft and iron. I sugest you go in completed listings and try to find one that matches yours if you have'nt done so already. Old golf balls are worth more money than clubs which surprised me.
