This might be a strange questions but I'm not too clued up on buying engagement rings (for obvious reasons...)! Actually the question is more for my bf than for me but I don't see him coming on here to ask! My bf and I are travelling to New York in April, from Australia. I know that he's buying me an engagement ring from Tiffany's, and that he wants to propose in New York... So I was wondering if it's possible to get one during the week-long stay we have there. Are you able to buy an e-ring 'off the rack', like walk in and walk out with one, or do you have to wait weeks to get it ordered or re-sized, etc, which means we won't be able to get one while we're there? The ring I want is fairly popular, I think, and it's also about $1000 cheaper than if we bought it from Tiffany's in Australia! Any help would be great... Thanks
