Famous Modernist Designer Still Working at 102
Eva Zeisel is known to collectors for her modern ceramic designs for Hall China, Red Wing, Sears Roebuck, the Museum of Modern Art, Hyalyn Pottery, Rosenthal and other potteries. She also designed metal chairs, crystal vases, lamps, plastic dinnerware, and interiors. This year she designed hand-knotted, hand-carved carpets. And she is 102 years old.
