Leaky Vases

We saw a booth filled with modern flower containers at a local arts festival. I asked if the vases held water, because years ago I ruined a wooden tabletop when my flower arrangement leaked. The artist said “no,” so I walked away. Always fill a new vase with water and let it sit for 24 hours. Even commercial vases can leak if not fired properly.
