A reader from Altavista, Virginia, writes: Thought you would get a chuckle from an ad that appeared in my local newspaper. Evidently the young person taking this ad didn’t know what a Hoosier cabinet is. The ad read: “Old Hoosier kitchen cabinet, flower sister included, $250.” (Bakers among us would appreciate the convenience of a kitchen cabinet with a built-in flour sifter right above the counter.)
