Hi. I am wondering if anyone can help identify this glass set. it is very heavy, with a cut pattern and wide gold banding.

You have a beautiful cheese or block of butter dish. I have a feeling that it could be West Germany cut glass. They made beautiful glass like this and very heavy. Also google Cambridge cut glass images. It depends on how old you think it is. West Germany glass is very plentiful here. Without a mark or sticker you might never know.

This is NOT cut glass, it's American antique pressed glass. Need a larger picture.
