Need help identifying a rocking chair! 6 Months, 1 Week ago

Trying to identify this antique rocking chair. It is a little heavy, which suggest walnut? It has a brass inlay on the back, the arms, and the seat. It is signed on the bottom, but I can't seem to make it out. It is also screwed together. Any help would be appreciated!

I was wondering if anyone could give me any background info on this vanity I found? It has some light scratching on some surfaces, but is otherwise in great condition. I do not have the chair that goes with it. Thanks in advance!!

My mother gave me this old dresser a few years ago.
