Help with Identifying Furniture Manufacturer? 9 Months ago
Hi ... seeking assistance on identifying possible manufacturer for this glass-top coffee table. The glass is the darker, almost black glass and rather thick. The table itself is heavy as well. I can find no identifying marks.

Chinese Folding Chair 9 Months ago
I purchased 3 of these chairs a few days ago; all for $120. They were orginally purchased at a flea market in Hamburg, Germany. I thought they were antique German chairs, but have since researched them and found out that they are Chinese Royal Folding Chairs; Royal because of the horseshoe shaped back.

There are no markings on the chair to show where they may have actually come from. I really need some help and/or advice on these. Could they actually be authentic or possible an antique replication of such chairs. All the ironwork on the chairs are definitely hand forged. The only "modern" identification I can find are 2 old, old flathead screws where the ironwork is attached to the footrests.

The seats are old canvas and may be an indication that the original seat was replaced at some time.

Thanks for anything you can throw at me

Re:Lane Game Table 9 Months ago
Here is a second picture with the top closed. The stamp on the bottom says "Lane Altavista, Virginia" with the serial 3's mentioned above.

Re: Unusual Arts & Crafts Lamp Pair 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I inherited an identical pair of very large table lamps. An aunt gave them to my parents in 1960, and now they have been given to me. Base of lamps is carved wood with inlaid ebony, pearl, fleur de lis designs. Shades are octagonal mica panels with red fleur de lis on each panel. Multiple light outlets with pull chains. All original and really nice condition. Can you tell me something about these lovely lamps? Are they French or Arts & Crafts? Is there any value to them or just old junk?

Re:Union Furniture Co. Rockford Illinois 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Union Furniture Company Rockford Illinois, cherrywood and mahogany cabinet, 6 foot high. Any thoughts on this piece?
All I know is that it was bought in Chicago Illinois in the 1950s, at an estate sale.
