Q: My father got this toy boat for his third birthday in 1889. It’s a wheeled pull toy. The rocker arm aft of the smokestack moves when the boat is pulled. The axle for the front wheel is off-center so the boat has a rocking motion when it moves. The name “New Orleans” is stamped in a panel across the side wheels. It’s cast iron with worn paint and is 10 1/2 inches long. Can you tell me who made this toy?
