Rose Medallion Plate

Q: This pierced plate and a matching bowl were given to me by my grandfather. The plate is 9 by 10 inches and the lattice work border is 1 1/4 inches wide. The bowl is 8 by 9 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches high. There aren’t any marks on the bottom of either piece. What can you tell me about them?
