Metal Salt & Pepper Shakers

Q: We have a salt and pepper set of very heavy metal (pewter??) and have never been able to find out anything about them. They have raised colonial scenes on all sides and have “D.S.P. Co. 202” stamped on the bottom. Is there anything you can tell us about them?
